The
Hungarian Parliament and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences declared the year
2017 the year of János Arany in honour of the 200th birthday of the
poet. This year of remembrance will take until 2nd March 2018. The
Pest County Region of the Hungarian Literary History Association and the Ignác
Török Secondary Grammar School of Gödöllő would like to join the events of the
bicentenary with a celebrating remembrance conference. We have invited
prominent researchers of his life and local experts to perform at this event.
